Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 10136 released
Hi everyone, we have a new Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build for Windows Insiders on the Fast ring today – Build 10136. There are a couple of things that you’ll need to pay close attention to in order to upgrade to this build. The first is that we are only offering it to phones that are running Windows Phone 8.1 and opted in to the Windows Insider Fast ring. What this means for you:
- If you are running the previous build offered to the Fast ring (10080) and you want to get this build you will need to go back to Windows Phone 8.1 via the Windows Phone Recovery Tool first. Once you’re up and running on Windows Phone 8.1, go to the Windows Insider app and select Insider Fast again. This is required because of a migration bug affecting upgrades from 10080 to this build so we are not supporting that upgrade path. We know this is a little bit painful but we didn’t want to make you wait any longer to get a new build and decided (with help from Windows Insiders following me on Twitter) not to hold for those migration issues to be fixed. Some of you previously had to go through 2 “hops” to get to the latest build on your phone. We’ve made this better and you will be able to upgrade directly to the latest build in a single hop regardless of which Windows Phone 8.1 build you’re starting from.

You can Charge Your Smartphones Over WiFi by this New coming Technology
The modern day technology has ensured that almost everything is available and accessible on the smartphone. But one thing always remains a matter of concern. The phone’s battery. The researchers have put in a considerable amount of time to solve this problem thoroughly, yet fail to totally fulfill the user demand. If you’re one among those who have issues with the battery then wait, you’re in for a treat.
Researchers at University of Washington have affirmed that the future of mobile charging can be done over WiFi, which will ease the burden of carrying a mobile charger all the time with you.
The work has already started and the plan is to further enhance the current WiFi infrastructure and work all possibilities that makes it possible to charge phones and devices over the network.
With the level of potential this infrastructure exhibits, the researchers are now focusing on the marketing ways to further improve and enhance the technology, by streamlining the harvesters to improve their maximum range.

How Windows 10 will work with Android and iPhones ?
Microsoft has published a new blog post detailing how Windows 10 will love all your hardware, no matter what operating system or ecosystem it may be a part of. Have an iPhone or an old printer? No problem.
The company is focusing on the more connected world where technology is swapped and mixed on a daily basis. You could be rocking a tablet one minute and be enjoying a film on your smart TV the next. Microsoft wants Windows 10 to be center stage. It's clear Microsoft is seeking to include those who choose to use products from other vendors simply by analysing the new services launched for iOS and Android alone.
The Phone Companion app is also touched upon in the blog post, which enables you to choose which phone you own - be it a Windows Phone, Android or iPhone. The tool will help those with the latter two get set up and configured for a seamless experience. There are various bonuses to using Microsoft's own services too, including Xbox Music.

Cortana will also be making her way to Android and iPhones, which will connect to Windows 10 as a companion app. Using the Phone Companion app on Windows 10 will aid those with both platforms to get started with Microsoft's personal assistant. It's a neat move by Microsoft to include more consumers into the Windows ecosystem by making it easier to get connected."With the latest upcoming version of the Music app, you'll be able to store and access your music from OneDrive not only on your PC but now also play it anywhere, for free, on your iOS or Android phone (this already works on Windows phones). This means the music playlists you spend hours putting together on your Windows 10 PC will now show up and be playable on your phone, automatically."
So, how does one get involved? You'll need to join the Windows Insider Program to test out the Phone Companion app on an upcoming Windows 10 Insider Preview build, which will be out in "a few weeks". Cortana is also expected to be made availabe for iPhones and Android handsets by the end of June, alongside the updated Xbox Music app."At Microsoft, we want everyone to love not just their Windows 10 PC, but all the devices they own, working with their Windows 10 PC."
Cortana is out for iPhone, iPad and Android
On iPhone and Android, for example, Cortana will show up as an app and can be used in much the same way as Cortana on Windows Phone. Ask questions, get answers, reminders and so on.
We'll be back with more on this soon, but for now, check out the video for yourselves below. Cortana's going to be everywhere with Windows 10, and Microsoft really means everywhere.

Android apps on windows 10 doesn't work as same as in android phones
Windows 10 for Phone entered public beta in the for of Insider program early this year and it promised a lot of things, specially UI changes, everything in works seems to be going well, though with a lot of bugs , Insiders are giving as much feedback as possible (including me) but that’s not the only thing that Windows Phone needs, it needs apps. Microsoft hence had a plan and has finally confirmed this is Build 2015 that Windows 10 for Phones will run Android apps inside a sub system.
Android apps will be available only for Phones and small tablets, not for PC’s or desktops running Windows 10.
The sub system will be based on KitKat “We believe we’ll have decent compatibility because this is AOSP,” says Microsoft’s Kevin Gallo.
The sub system will be based on KitKat “We believe we’ll have decent compatibility because this is AOSP,” says Microsoft’s Kevin Gallo.
This said, let everyone here know that every Android app cannot run on Windows 10 for Phone, there are certain things the app can do and cant and since the apps will be running on Microsoft’s services and not Android’, it will have to follow some set of instructions making it a universal app as well as keeping the Windows app security model.
According to Kevin, this will make sure the apps run the Windows behavior, wont run in the background and will be well behaved. With this, there will be no loss in standard capabilities including camera, file picker and other stuff.
User can download apps from the Windows Store and not the Play Store, obviously, and everyone here should know complex applications cannot run in this sub system because of a lot of work that will need to be redone in order to support Microsoft’s services. There has been a huge hype about Rudy Huyn explaining exactly what are the possibilities of running Android apps or even having Android Universal apps.
We wont give you guys false hopes, but do not expect Android apps like Instagram and maps based apps to be running on Windows 10, most of the apps that are going to come are going to be simple ones, mostly according to some phrases Rudy spoke about, it could be easy enough to port games, but not complex apps.

Windows 10 Photos app finally gets Albums
Windows 10 for Phones has been on a delay for updates but we keep getting some new screenshots on the web, here is more showing the Album feature in Windows 10 for Phones.
UI based changes in the last few leaks have been a bulk, right form startscreen tile gap closing in, completely transparent tiles, new Outlook UI and a lot more.
Now the above screenshot(Left) from official slides shows how the Photos app UI will changes in future builds. On the right is a screenshot from the latest Build 10052.
- Albums will be finally here. The Photos app can auto-create albums that much we know but you can have a look at how it will look.
- The menu will move to bottom and that will be really helpful in using multiple selections of the images

Windows 10 is the last operating system from microsoft ,there will be no windows 10.1 or 11
According to Microsoft, the next edition will be its last named operating system. But the experts are opining that it doesn’t mean the Redmond based company won’t update its operating system. They are predicting that there will be many more updates, but none of them will be named
This news was declared by Jerry Nixon, a Microsoft employee and developer evangelist. He stated, “Right now we’re releasing Windows 10, and because Windows 10 is the last version of Windows, we’re all still working on Windows 10,” which clearly means that future updates will also be branded as Windows 10.
The Windows 10 update for PCs is scheduled to release in the third quarter of this year, on the other hand, the mobile updates are expected to be released later.
New dialer app on the way for Cyanogen OS users in partnership with Truecaller
Smartphones have, for the most part, taken our ability to communicate and improved it dramatically. There are more ways to reach out to the rest of the world than ever before, and whether you're into text only, face to face video, or good old fashioned audio calls you can reach out with relatively little effort. There's one small piece of voice communication that has taken a backseat in this new generation of communication, due largely to carrier efforts to monetize the technology and users deciding they could live without it. Caller ID as a service has changed quite a bit from the days of the little LCD display next to your home phone, and the folks at Cyanogen have decided to work with one of the more impressive companies keeping this service alive today to implement an integrated solution in their next dialer app.
It's more than a little strange to get excited about a dialer app, but free integrated Caller ID that doesn't suck is kind of a big deal. The folks at Truecaller have made a name for themselves by being a powerful, community-driven Caller ID service with a ton of features that play well with most Android phones. On top of the traditional Caller ID service, which usually works well to tell you the name of the person or business behind a particular number, Truecaller lets users flag numbers as known spammers. When enough users have flagged the same number, that information shows up alongside the ID info so you know not to bother answering. Truecaller does a reasonable job working with notifications and incoming call pop-ups with their helpful data to inform the user, but a truly integrated dialer experience would be ideal, and that's what Cyanogen OS users will soon be able to enjoy.
This new Cyanogen/Truecaller dialer takes all of the best Lollipop features — including contact cards, heads-up notifications, and Material Design — and wraps in native spam reporting and call blocking alongside community-driven reporting. Users will be able to access Truecaller data across the entire dialer, including call history and individual contact cards that can be edited or flagged at any point in the app. It's a fresh coat of paint and a ton of new features, coming together to create a dialer that works better than the experience most carriers are now charging extra for.
As cool as this new dialer looks, it's not something everyone is going to feel like they want or need. The Cyanogen folks are prepared for this, and plan to make the Truecaller features opt-in and removable. Users who want to take advantage of Truecaller features but already have a preferred third party dialer app are supported as well, so if you prefer something else but still want all the Caller ID stuff you're covered. Cyanogen isn't currently talking about a launch date for this new dialer, and the company isn't ready to announce support for their community-driven CyanogenMod users, but the plan for this new dialer is to have it exist as a global product that is eventually rolled out to all Cyanogen OS devices.
It may be just a dialer app, and this may be just Caller ID, but this is one of those minor things we routinely see users ask for year after year, and the Cyanogen folks are taking an interesting path to delivering that experience.

Individual app permissions by user are reportedly coming to Google devices
According to a new report out of Bloomberg, Google may soon bring the ability for Android users to select what aspects of their device an app can and cannot have access to before downloading from Google Play. From Bloomberg:
Google's Android operating system is set to give users more detailed choices over what apps can access, according to the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter remains private. That could include photos, contacts or location. An announcement of the change, which would put Android closer in line with Apple Inc.'s iOS, is expected for Google's developer's conference in San Francisco this month, one of the people said.
Google already made great strides in making app permissions clearer to users with an update to Google Play last year. However, if this report is true, it looks like users may soon have much more control over those permissions in the future. It remains unclear is how apps may handle a lack of permissions for aspects of the device that are vital to their function, and how granular of control users will be given over apps when they're installed.
